Star Trek To Kor, the Dahar Master
Will Pears:
Eine englische Fanfiction. Sie ist nicht gut, aber vielleicht mag sie ja dennoch jemand. Sie setzt an mitten in der DS9 Episode \"Once more unto the breach / Der Dahar-Meister\"!
To Kor, the Dahar Master
„Long live the Empire!”
These were the last words of Kor before he left the IKC Ch\'tang, knowing, that the following battle would be the last in his life. But he didn\'t fear the death, he looked forward to enter Sto-vo-kor. In fact he grinned, when the transporter beamed him aboard the IKC Ning\'tao to take command of the ship.
Seconds passed and Kor found himself standing on the transporter platform of the bird of prey he was going to induce into battle. No shivering slowed him. His final destination to stop a fleet of ten Jem\'Hadar attack fighters gave him strength and force. At the door a young officer, one of the six volunteers of this mission, stood and stared at him.
“Dahar Master Kor?” He was unable to believe that he would the honour to fight in battle with Kor, the Dahar master. “Are you going to be in charge of our ship?” The old Klingon said calm but certain: “Indeed, I am.” The younger warrior answered with all due respect: “This is an honour to me and my family.” With no less respect the Dahar master said: “Qapla\'!”
On his way to the bridge he touched the communicator at his belt to order the senior staff: “Drop out of Warp, turn the ship around and then drive us into the Jem\'Hadar fleet on Warp 6.” Kor felt the ship shaking when its engines\' speed was lowered. When the IKC Ning\'tao again started to shake he already was in a turbolift taking him to the bridge in the front area of the ship. The young officer was still right to his site watching his every move.
The four officers on the bridge rose and stared at him just like the young warrior from the transporter room. Kor only said: “Kor taking command of the IKC Ning\'tao.” Nobody said a word, then M\'Kan spoke: “The Jem\'Hadar will be in range by the minute. What are your orders?” Kor shouted at the five officers: “You,” he pointed out one of the present warriors, “will use our tractor beam to stop the ship on their right flank.”
The Commander of the Bird of Prey continued after a second watch on the tactical display: “Tactical officer, you will destroy the left of their fleet by photon torpedoes. When we get in disruptor range, we open fire on the frontal attack fighters.” A Colonel asked: “When will we decloak?” “Now.” The old Captain Kor leaned back in the command chair, so that he could enjoy the fight. Everyone on the bridge followed his orders.
The old Klingon\'s heart filled with pride. Now he was ready to die, after commanding a Klingon warship in a battle. But then he concentrated on the Jem\'Hadar again. His men did their best and the first ship\'s warp flight was interrupted by the tractor beam. But then the Ning\'tao was thrown to the ship its tractor beam hold.
The torpedoes didn\'t reach their targets and the disruptor fire shot the space only. “Mok\'tah, hold on the fire. It\'s time to play.” The bridge officers were a little worried about what Kor mean. “Captain? What do you mean?” He answered the Colonel: “Hide and seek. Higher the speed.” When the Bird of Prey crushed through the enemy\'s line and flew fast into that direction.
The Jem\'Hadar fleet followed the Klingon ship. On the ship\'s bridge Kor mentioned: “We only have to keep them busy for ten minutes.” But once again the great Dahar master\'s plan did not work. The Jem\'Hadar splitted, so that one half could follow Martok and the rest of the Klingon Raiders. Although it seemed impossible for Kor to stop the fleet, he tried. He wouldn\'t surrender. Never. So he ordered to turn around and asked: “Are we able to create more than one tractor beam?” “Only theoretical. And even it would work its power was very low.”
“Do it when we are in range.” He said: ”Then fire our last torpedoes to their engines?” Nork, the Colonel, asked: “How much time left until our ships reach...” The warrior was disrupted by three Polaron torpedoes and the resulting shivering of the whole ships. “Shields down to 61%” “Now, we got a problem.” Kor said.
They got the Jem\'Hadar stopped, before they really could start their pursuit of Martok\'s Taskforce. And that was the problem. The Klingon ship now was between two lines of Jem\'Hadar Fighters. The continuing fire of them lowered the shields again, but Kor saw no way to escape from the battle. “Fire at the weakest ship. Only two minutes are left before its...” Again Polaron fire disrupted the conversation. “Shields at 23%.” Now Kor got the idea: “All energy to the deflector. Then higher the shields and enlarge them to push the fleet back.”
This plan worked and the IKC Ning\'tao was able to get rid of all enemy fighters. The enemy did not make the mistake to follow Martok and fired again at the little Klingon Bird of Prey. All Jem\'Hadar ships were damaged but Kor could not hope to survive the next attack. “Go on full impulse then activate Warp drive. If there is any way to detract them then it is to flee and make them follow.” The hardly damaged Klingon cruiser used it last remaining system, its warp drive, to give the IKC Ch\'tang some more seconds. “Just 5, 4, 3...” A dozen Polaron torpedoes exploded on the Ning\'tao. The Dahar Master Kor died.
Kolana shouted: „He\'s done it. The Jem\'Hadar are out of time. They can no longer overtake us before we reach the Defiant.“ General Martok was worried: „How? How did that pompous old man hold off an entire Jem\'Hadar fleet with only one ship?“
But Worf asked back: „Does it matter?“ Martok was finally satisfied: „Darok, give me that bottle.“ The General knocks off the cork with his D\'k tahg, before he gives his toast: “To Kor, the Dahar Master. A noble warrior to the end.”
That is the last tale of Kor, son of Ryan. One true Klingon Dahar master.

Das ist wirklich ne gute idee diesen kampf für ne kurze Fanfic aufzugreifen.
Das wäre bestimmt was für Sven wenn er mal wieder einen Comic machen will!
Edit:
Hast du die Formatierung geändert? Vorher wars besser!

Schade, Maik.
